Covered Here 05:18
I don't know how I got here Now I just don't see it all so clear The stars that shimmer in the night Lay down my fears I say goodnight Wake up to see the trees afloat Outside my window outside my gloat The leaves that flutter in the wind Are flying like snowflakes where do we begin The day appears To play on my fears I wait for time to steer Me away to my dreams Covered Here 'Cause covered here I feel so safe Like a baby in her mom's embrace Time will continue on With no say how far its gone The clock is ticking as we wait Purple twilight branches night to day The day appears To play on my fears I wait for time to steer Me away to my dreams Covered Here 'Cause covered here I feel so safe Like a baby in her mom's embrace Rub the sleep from your eyes Rub you right out of my mind Rub the sleep from your eyes Rub you right out of my mind Under Under Under Here Covered Here Covered Here Covered Here

Time has changed time has rearranged Time has changed time has rearranged Out of the sun comes the rain Out of the rain comes clean again Clean feels so good to me A fresh start and a fresh scene Like a wide eyed fairy sprinkling dust so airy I drink in the glittering dream I long for you, I long for you I long for you, I long for you Like a moth to a flame in the night I long for you by my side Like a moth to a flame in the night I long for you by my side I'd fly to you and I can't explain I'm just drawn to you and to your flame flame Take me back for one night A comfy home yeah comfy life In the garden of my strife Flowers bloom and flowers die But we all shine in the right light I long for you, I long for you I long for you, I long for you Like a moth to a flame in the night I long for you by my side Like a moth to a flame in the night I long for you by my side I'd fly to you and I can't explain I'm just drawn to you and to your flame flame In your flame I burn so deep I burn so hot that I can't sleep In your flame I burn so deep I burn so hot that I can't eat In your flame I burn so deep I burn so hot that I can't see

I hope I didn't do the wrong thing Taking you into my wings and Spreading them to fly out Trying to break free from the die out Such a long time living Without the warmth I seemed to shut out But you flew to me and gave me what I need My stomach is turning As the glow of its still burning And the days creep back in Where they were before you came Into my life and this game was still asleep Maybe its better, I was licking my feathers What am I supposed to do now I am different after you now And I feel black and blue now I feel so black and blue now After the night spent with you how In the darkest sky's hours Until the morning blue out Back to being alone now Except it feels a little less alone now Since you walked out my door This butterfly's been morphed No more flying circles around each other The week has died now, the week has died now Maybe I wanted you to love me But not that way I hope that your thinking of me And the game we played I don't want to have to give up on you And the bed we made, not today, anyway What am I supposed to do now I am different after you now And I feel black and blue now I feel so black and blue now After the night spent with you how In the darkest sky's hours Until the morning blue out Blew out Out

Woke up the other day Turned to my pillow Another day Rolled on out of bed Pulled your hat Over my bed head Grabbed my dog Walked down the stairs Stepped outside to the Hushed Fall air Guess everybody's still asleep And then it hit me, it hit me deep That I just can't stop thinking about All those things you do to me lately So take me baby and call me names Tell me how you want me and I'll do the same Headed on down the street Grabbed my coffee and something to eat Climbed our way back up the stairs Smell of pancakes and toast in the air Sat down and picked up my guitar Started playing got this far Looked out my window into the sky Watched the clouds floating by I just can't stop thinking about All those things you do to me lately So take me baby and call me names Tell me how you want me and I'll do the same Smells just like Sunday morning Came without a warning, came without a warning Smells just like Sunday morning Came with such a longing, came with such a longing I just can't stop thinking about All those things you do to me lately So take me baby and call me names Tell me how you want me and I'll do the same I'll do the same, I'll do the same, I'll do the same
